Nothing is as deep and uncertain as the sea. And yet we already know a lot. For example, that this essential centerpiece of the planet is not doing well at all. But there are things we can do to make things better. And have to do. WE THE SEA – Not another coffee table book shows incredibly beautiful pictures (surely there is hardly anything more beautiful to look at than the sea) but it also uncovers. In order for us to do something, we need to know. And there is a lot to know. This book isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress. It’s about moving forward and doing something – each and everyone of us.
Nichts ist so tief und ungewiss wie das Meer. Und doch wissen wir schon Vieles. Zum Beispiel, dass es diesem essentiellen Herzstück des Planeten so gar nicht gut geht. Wir aber Einiges tun können, damit es besser wird. Und tun müssen. WE THE SEA – Not another Coffee Table Book zeigt unfassbar schöne Bilder (ich glaube es gibt kaum etwas, das schöner anzusehen ist, als das Meer) es zeigt aber auch Einiges auf. Damit wir etwas tun können, müssen wir wissen. Und es gibt viel zu wissen. Dieses Buch geht nicht um Perfektion, es geht um Fortschritt. Vorankommen. Ewas tun.
